Alexa has come full circle with Salon Elan. At the beginning of college she worked as a guest services coordinator and since graduating, she has returned as the Manager for the Appleton location. Alexa has a deep passion for style, fashion and all things beauty but her skills and mindset are rooted in business and people.
Alexa has a degree in Economics and Sociology from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI. Customer Service is one of her greatest values. She loves being a part of the ins and outs of the salon industry. Although, Alexa isn't a stylist she still enjoys being a part of classes just to see what everyone else is learning. When she's not at the salon she still spends all her time with people; quality time with family and friends means the world to her, especially if it's at a coffee shop or over cheese curds.
Lauren has been passionate about the beauty industry ever since she can remember. From clipping barrettes in her grandpa's hair as a toddler — to coloring friends' hair at home as a teen — Lauren always knew she was destined to be a stylist!
Lauren loves all aspects of this industry starting with customer experience all the way to the finished look. Keeping up with the latest trends and techniques with continuing education is extremely important to her. Throughout her career she has been trained through Redken, Aveda, Goldwell, R+Co, Bumble & Bumble, and Davines. It's always important for Lauren to customize each service — to bring out the best in every person who sits in her chair — and teach them how to recreate this at home as well!
Being a part of the beauty industry has always been a dream of Courtney’s. Not only does she love coming up with new looks and styles for her guests, she absolutely loves getting to know them on a personal level. She finds that once she gets to know her guests personally along with their needs or wants for their hair, she's able to make their inner beauty shine. It is so important to Courtney that she makes continuing education a priority so that she’s able to keep up with the ever-changing trends. Courtney has been very fortunate to have amazing training — starting with the Aveda Institute in Madison — to working amidst some very inspiring and creative people in her career! She feels very lucky to have found a career where she can be creative and meet so many great people, but mostly, become a part of her guest’s lives and help them be and feel like the best versions of themselves.
Kristin has been working in the beauty industry for over ten years. She has experience in a wide variety of hair care techniques, makeup and bodywork. She has worked with Redken, Wella and mainly Aveda, before coming to Salon Elan.
She is passionate about continuing education and staying current on all the latest beauty trends. Her guests love her friendly personality, attention to detail and willingness to guide them in recreating their finished look at home. Kristin is a happily married mommy, who in her spare time, enjoys cooking, thrift shopping “treasure hunting,” repurposing wood furniture, taking her dog swimming, camping, and most of all, spending time with her husband and son.
Meghan has always loved utilizing her creative abilities as her outlet. She has always enjoyed art of any form and found herself always doing her friends’ hair and makeup for any event in high school. Meghan has always been a hands-on learner as well, so when she decided to follow the beauty school path to the Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness — right out of high school — everything fell into place. Being a stylist for her doesn't feel like a job, she gets to create and meet wonderful people all the time. What's not to love about that! Meghan has been trained through Aveda, Redken and REF of Sweden color lines and has been working in the industry for over three years. She specializes in naturally brightening, balayage, textured haircuts, shellac manicures and much more!
In Meghan's free time she likes to paint, refurbish furniture, decorate, travel, meet new people and spend time with her friends and family! She looks forward to meeting you and having you in her chair!
Alysa always knew she wanted to be a part of the beauty industry. She started experimenting with makeup and hot tools at only 8 years old. She went to Gill-Tech Academy of Hair Design just months after graduating high school and still enjoys it as much as her first day.
Alysa specializes in color, specifically balayage, fashion color and foiling. She also enjoys makeup, texturized cuts and specialty styles, but truly loves to keep up with the hottest trends. She has been trained by Goldwell, Aloxxi, Aveda and Redken color. She absolutely loves getting to know new clients and customizing a look to fit their individual style — her clients are the best part of her job! She looks forward to meeting you soon.
Caitlin is very passionate about the beauty industry. Before she decided to become a cosmetologist, she was a CNA at a nursing home in Kaukauna. She loved working with the elderly and that's where she realized she wanted to go into the industry. Every chance she got, she was doing their hair and makeup. Seeing how much joy it brought them and how much confidence they gained really triggered something inside her. She loves when she can give someone confidence and make them feel beautiful.
When she is not at the salon, she loves to spend time with family, friends, and her adorable puppy Oliver.
Ever since she was a little girl growing up at her grandma's beauty shop, Jamie knew she wanted to do hair. To this day she can say she still has that same excitement and joy to be a stylist. She has been in the beauty industry for 12-plus years and has been lucky enough to have been trained by Aveda, Redken and Wella. She also spent a few years focused on clipper cutting/men's cutting. Jamie loves what she does most of all because of her clients. They make it to live her dreams and she is forever thankful for that.
It would be extremely difficult to pinpoint one or two services that are Jamie's favorite as she honestly loves doing it all. To list a few of her specialties she would say men's/women's cutting, color (whether it is one solid color or multi-dimensional), undercut with designs, and special occasion updos/styles. She looks forward to meeting you!
Abbie has been in the industry for 7 years now and even though she didn’t follow her hair dreams immediately out of high school, she always knew deep down that this is something she was passionate about. Ever since she can remember, she’s loved anything that brought out her creative side and she knew she made the right decision after week one at The Salon Professional Academy. Abbie’s love for the industry has her ambitiously seeking out the latest trends and techniques to deliver the best possible experience while sitting in her chair. Taking the extra time for a consultation to address your needs and ultimate hair goals is something Abbie takes very seriously - anything from how to properly use product, styling your hair, or simply a plan on getting you to the color you’ve always wanted. Abbie is happily married with an amazing son, daughter and Bernese mountain dog, Frankie who she’s spending every minute with when she’s not at the salon. She can’t wait to meet you!

She loves the feeling of making others look and feel their best. She cherishes her client relationships she built over the last eight years and looks forward to creating new ones. Erin currently works part time and spends the rest of her time with her husband and three small boys. She enjoys being outside in the sun, reading, traveling and most of all shopping.
